Is the US a Fascist Nation?

With thousands of pages of laws and regulations on the books, high taxation and now, shocking nationalizations of US corporations,have we sunk so low to now qualify as a fascist nation? Below is a quote from a recent blog at The Chalcedon Foundation.

Babylon Under Judgment

I continue to see a repeating problem with prophetic words of late that deal with political and economic situations. These prophets give a mixed word because they have gifts but lack strong foundations in the written Word. Rhema must proceed from a solid understanding of Logos. They catch a prophetic glimpse of a matter than apply a wrong interpretation because they don’t have the framework of a Christian worldview. Being Arminian, there are weak roots to the Reformation and little comprehension of God’s law, meaning, the vast majority of Arminians are antinomian.

 

This is why there is so much humanism in the Church. Humanism inevitably leads to statism, the worship of the beast or state. This is why the religious right seems to always look for a “savior” in politicians. They want someone who is Republican, confesses Christianity, and then can care less if that person is a tyrant that will tax their family’s wealth away, send their sons to fight no win wars for the glory of the UN and advance communism in this country via corporate welfare to such an extent that china must be laughing at us for changing places with them as they prosper through deregulation and freeing up their markets.

 

There is no great hope coming out of Alaska or Washington DC. We are at the beginning of 10 to 15 years of economic war. Nothing new will begin in Washington DC. Change will not come until it begins in the pulpits and leads to repentance from idolatry. We are in for a long haul and no quick and easy fixes. When the prophets are blind, you cannot expect much to change. There are a few who can see though the fog but most of them have no nationally recognized platform. Pray that the prophets be delivered of idols first, and then they will be able to see and thereby lead.

 

The greatest threat to our freedom is statism, not abortion. Abortion is a manifestation of statism and statism is prevalent in the Church. These prophets need someone to teach them the importance of the Word, systematic theology, God’s Law, and how to apply faith in every aspect of life. Having accomplished that, they will be able to bring forth a pure word of the Lord that can lead the Church out of the quicksand. Until now, I have not seen anything redemptive coming from them that can lead into an exodus from statism/humanism and restore our covenantal foundations.

Palin appears to love violence even more than Bush and McCain. She has stated her willingness to go to war with Russia, and of course there is no cause. She is an apologist for continuing the wars in the Middle East as well as trample on the sovereignty of nations like Pakistan and dishonors their borders. She is a statist through and through and fully supports the humanist agenda. The Religious Right loves her because it has no Christian worldview and disdains God’s Law.

As for prophets, their role is not primarily prediction, but proclamation. The prophets are to call God’s people back to faith and obedience to God’s Law-Word. Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Why these two? Why not Abraham? Because Jesus declared the gospel of the Kingdom, the Law was given by Moses and the prophets enforced the Law, represented by Elijah. The Gospel doesn’t reject God’s Law but fulfills and establishes it.

Matthew 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The prophets aren’t to merely point out that trouble is coming, but they are to use prophetic and current events to teach God’s divine order is to be kept and call us to repentance for idolatry and lawlessness. They are useless if they don’t do this. Ron Paul is a far better prophet even without the gifts because he understands God’s order, he understands the destruction of humanistic law and economics and he understands what we can do about it, which is to return to our foundations. The prophets appear to be clueless.

It is amazing for any Christian, like Palin, to support these wars or support the bank bailout. Such support is praise for and faith in Babylon, because it is an antichrist system doomed to judgment. We should be happy to see the present fall because it is God’s judgment. Those who are sorrowful and want to bail it out and chosen sides against Christ, His law-Word and His prophets, The Scripture states that we should be rejoicing when we see this Babylonian system under judgment because it is God vindicating His prophets and saints.

The wars have one primary reason, to enrich the military-industrial complex as Eisenhower described it in his farewell speech. He warned that this group would entangle us in wars only for their own benefit. Shortly after this speech, the Vietnam War began for the US.

Revelation 18:9And the rulers and leaders of the earth who joined her in her immorality (idolatry) and luxuriated with her will weep and beat their breasts and lament over her when they see the smoke of her conflagration.^(F)

10They will stand a long way off, in terror of her torment, and they will cry, Woe and alas, the great city, the mighty city, Babylon! In one single hour how your doom (judgment) has overtaken you!

11And earth’s businessmen will weep and grieve over her because no one buys their freight (cargo) any more.^(G)

15The dealers who handled these articles, who grew wealthy through their business with her, will stand a long way off, in terror of her doom and torment, weeping and grieving aloud, and saying,

There is, however, a company of prophets that will be raised up that are walking in divine revelation and wisdom; that understands the Kingdom of God and understands how to apply faith to all of life. Repentance and transformation will take place in a great way as the restoration of the prophetic office matures.

CONGRESS DECLARES THE BIBLE “THE WORD OF GOD”

The following law was signed into law by President Reagan and is forgotten by most people now. As such, it declares the US to be a Christian nation and implies our need to obey God’s Law, something our civil government has not yet begun to do, but it is a precedent and prophetic of what is to come.

Whereas the Bible, the Word of God, has made a unique contribution in shaping the United States as a distinctive and blessed nation and people;

Whereas Biblical teachings inspired concepts of civil government that are contained in our Declaration of Independence and the constitution of the United States;

Whereas many of our great national leaders—among them Presidents Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, and Wilson—paid tribute to the surpassing influence of the Bible in our country’s development, as the words of President Jackson that the Bible is “the rock on which our Republic rests”;

Choose between Humanist A or Humanist B?

Consider the following email that I received regarding the election, then my comments on why it doesn’t matter.

“Let me share some info with you that I have gotten from excellent sources within the DNC:

On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.

There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info. generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have already seen a few short blurbs about this – the “health problem” cited in those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings.

However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.

So, let’s start mixing this one up and cut the Obamites off at the pass – send this info out to as many people as you can – post about it on websites and blogs – etc etc”

This may be interesting, but really, what good does it do to act upon this. God’s Word says we cannot choose anyone to be a ruler who isn’t a brother and keeps God’s law. Bible teachers are to instruct rulers in God’s law and be a prophetic voice to them if they violate or rule contrary to God’s law. By merely claiming to be a Christian does not qualify them. The qualification is that they loyally obey God’s law. In other words, they have righteous fruit.

Neither McCain nor Obama qualify. Sarah Palin doesn’t qualify, although she probably is a real Christian, she has made it quite clear that she is ignorant of or intends to ignore God’s law. Her interview revealed that she will rule as a humanist. Her platform could be stated as, “Let’s return to Egypt.”

 

Deuteronomy 17 (Amp.) 15You shall surely set as king over you him whom the Lord your God will choose. One from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner, who is not your brother, over you.

16But he shall not multiply horses to himself or cause the people to return to Egypt in order to multiply horses, since the Lord said to you, You shall never return that way.

17And he shall not multiply wives to himself, that his [mind and] heart turn not away; neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

18And when he sits on his royal throne, he shall write for himself a copy of this law in a book, out of what is before the Levitical priests.

Christians need to repent of our support of building the Tower of Babel. There is not really anything that deeply distinguishes McCain from Obama. The choice is between Humanist A and Humanist B. Just think how the Republican Party, which in general is more conservative than McCain, has ushered in the greatest assault on our liberties ever, exceeding even the socialist New Deal of FDR with the nationalization of 75% of the nation’s mortgages, take over of private banks and insurance companies without congressional approval; not even by the president, though that would still be unconstitutional, but this was done by the unelected Treasury Dept and the Federal Reserve.

Where did they get the authority to do this? Definitely, the authority didn’t come from the Constitution. That’s now a dead document that politicians blaspheme God’s name when they swear to support the Constitution.

 

We are now quite literally a fascist nation and only the degree of our fascism distinguishes us from Nazi Germany. Americans, and particularly the Church, is asleep. The pulpits on Sunday will either be silent about this or they will be praising God for saving us, but in reality, their god is an idol that lives in Washington DC or in New York.

To borrow a phrase from David Chilton, Christians are quite content to build the Tower of Babel in order to have a prayer meeting in its basement. The election is meaningless. There are no positive changes coming from either candidate; they both march to the same drummer. The media pretends that these are the only candidates running, always ignoring third party candidates because they don’t want us to think that there is any choice except the one they give us.

 

Instead of forwarding this email, a better action step would be to write letters to the editor rebuking Secretary of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve for creating a trillion dollar obligation of the American taxpayer without even the constitutional consent of Congress. Doesn’t anyone remember we fought against tyranny of taxation without representation? Where was your representative during this take over? Where were we that we didn’t object?

We supposedly fight to coerce Iraqis to except democracy and we kill the representative republic here. I didn’t vote for this nationalization of the banks and insurance and neither did my congressman. So if we aren’t interested in the Constitution, why should we care whether in November Obama or McCain is elected? McCain laughed during Republican debates when Ron Paul would bring up the Constitution. He doesn’t believe that he should have limitations on his tyranny and neither does Obama.

 

I have been stating that these military wars are going to end, I believe in 2010, and the next great war is an economic war that the Christian Church must win and can win. This is the start of that war. We have much to do to undo the damage that has been done this week.

Our primary weapon is not political, neither is it prayer alone, though both play a vital part. The primary weapon is the orchestrated work of market place ministers covenanted together to create wealth as a weapon to flatten these giants in the land. We will create councils of covenanted economic warriors that will take these mountains as Joshua and Caleb did for their generation. Divine strategies will be birthed in these councils that will drive out the Republicanites, the Democatites, Treasuryites, Federal Reserveites, Obamaites, and McCainites.

Babylon, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch and AIG

This has been a historical week. Nothing like it has ever happened since the Great Depression. The party that started on Jekyll Island in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve swindle now has a massive hangover and is vomiting in the toilet. Lehman Bros. gone. Merrill Lynch gone, AIG could be gone before the end of the week. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae nationalized. It would make Marx, Lenin and Stalin proud.

 

Looking at the presidential candidates that Americans support, they still don’t get it. If they understood what is going on and were determined that righteousness should rule the nation, they would have supported Ron Paul. But public schools made Americans dumber than snot. They still look to Washington DC as their savior, including Christians. It reminds me of Revelation, though as a preterist, I believe these events took place in the first century, but have application today. Babylon is fallen.

 

Autonomous man in his arrogant discuss for God’s law, reaps his judgment. These statist worshippers have profited at the expense of taxpayers by political manipulation and their supported the demise of biblical Law and the Constitution. God always wins (Psalm 2).

Democrats coasting to defeat

This is a blog on Lew Rockwell’s site, www.lewrockwell.com. The GOP has proven how dumb it is. The Democrats are few multiples dumber. No wonder Jesus wondered at the unbelief of people. The Democrats took majorities in the Senate and the House due to the wars, and yet they have done nothing to stop it. Additionally, they voted for the war right along with the GOP at the beginning. If they really made an effort to end the wars, they would probably lock up the White House and Congress for another 8 to 12 years, but they are too dumb or corrupt to take the advantage.

Democrats coasting to defeat

Everywhere I look, the polls show the Republicans surging and the Democrats receding at every level. How did the Dems manage to pull this off? In year 8 of the most unpopular GOP president since Nixon, the Dems look like they’re about to lose the presidency yet again. And, if the current trend keeps up, they’ll make far fewer gains in Congress than they’d hoped for.

Perhaps it’s their clueless platform. I’ll summarize.

The Dem platform:
1. Abortion: we love it. Everyone should have one. Anytime anywhere! More abortion! We love it! Hurray abortion! Sire, half the country is heartily opposed, but our funders tell us it’s a winning issue.
2. We hate all women who aren’t exactly like Hillary Clinton. See Bill Anderson on this one.
3. Sure, we’re in the middle of the most unpopular war in American history, but we’re too stupid to come out and say we’re opposed to it. So you might as well vote for the GOP.
4. We hate white (i.e. Anglo) people. Sure, they make up the majority of the electorate in most states, but we can’t be bothered with those people unless they have ivy league degrees.
5. Raise taxes! Every candidates that runs on raising taxes wins, right? Right? Right?
